Quickcoast's fastcat ferries can accommodate 85 passengers and offers accessible and affordable options for exploring the stunning coastal landscapes and fringing islands of Far North Queensland.

Quickcoast operates ferry services from Mission Beach to Dunk Island, departing five times per week during peak periods and is available for private charter to neighboring islands like Bedarra, Wheeler, and Kent Islands.

From July 2023, QuickCoast introduces Coastal Xpeditions, expanding services with weekly journeys from Mission Beach to Townsville, and northward to Cairns. Aiming to provide travelers with exceptional experiences, showcasing the captivating coastal scenery and optional embarking/disembarking opportunities at Fitzroy Island or Dunk Island.

Choose from our range of exclusive Coastal Xpeditions that operate the coast and islands between Cairns and Townsville. QuickCoast is a fast cat that enable exploration of part of Captain Cook’s voyage in 1770. QuickCoast is capable of carrying over 90 passengers however restrict numbers to less than 60 for our Xpeditions. . Her spacious layout means every passenger has opportunity to become up close and personal with interrupted views some of Australia’s best coastline and islands.

Departing from Mission Beach, the day-long excursion aboard the comfortable, air-conditioned QuickCoast catamaran takes guests directly to the stunning Beaver Reef & Cay. Participants can enjoy up to 3.5 hours of snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef, renowned for its vibrant marine life and coral gardens. The tour also includes a stop at Dunk Island, where guests can relax on the beach or enjoy leisure activities.
